DC Film Crew 2023 Competition

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Only entries which are submitted and comply with these conditions of entry may take part in this competition.

  2. The Promoter is Universal Pictures International Australasia Pty Ltd (A.B.N 44 122 951 099) of Level 32, 580 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

  3. Entry is open to all permanent residents of NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA aged 16 years and above except employees of the Universal Pictures International Australasia Pty Ltd, its agents and the immediate family of those employees. Entrants under 18 years of age must have consent from a parent or guardian to enter this promotion.

  4. This competition is an extension of the DC Film Crew 2022 Competition. All entrants within the 2022 Competition will automatically be entered into the DC Film Crew 2023 Competition Draws.

  5. Competition starts at 00:00 AM AEDT on Sunday 1st January 2023 and ends at 22:00 AEDT on Friday 8th December 2023, however, there are four (4) draws throughout the competition period (stipulated in the table below) which will include all entrants up until the date/time of the Entry Deadline of each draw:

  6. Draw dates are subject to change at the Promoter’s discretion based on final film release dates.

  7. For clarity, each draw will include:

    (a) All entrants into the DC Film Crew 2022 Competition (between Thursday 17th February 2022 at 09:00 AEST and Saturday 31st December 2022 at 23:59), and;

    (b) All entrants who entered the DC Film Crew 2023 competition between Sunday 1st January 2023 at 00:00 AEST and the Entry Deadline for the corresponding draw (detailed in the table in clause 5).

  8. To enter, participants must go to dcfilmcrew.com.au and register all required details in order to submit a valid entry.

  9. It is free to enter the competition, however, the cost of accessing the promotional website is dependent on the entrant’s individual service provider.

  10. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

  11. A limit of one online entry per person applies but entrants are eligible to win multiple times as that one entry will apply across all future draws for this competition.

  12. There will be seven hundred and fifty (740) winners in total, with winners per draw split by state as follows in the table below. Each winner will receive one (1) of the following prizes corresponding to the draw in which they are deemed a winner of.

  13. The screenings will be held at a cinema in each state, stipulated by the Promoter at time of prize notification.

  14. For the avoidance of doubt, the winner and guest must make their own way to and from the events – there is no travel or accommodation included in these prizes.

  15. If the event is cancelled, the winner will receive one (1) double in-season pass for two (value of $50) to see the film corresponding to the draw in which they were deemed a winner in cinemas.

  16. Prize values are based on recommended retail prizes and are correct at the date of printing individual promotion terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between now and the ultimate date individual prizes are taken.

  17. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize winners do not or are not able to take the prizes at the time stipulated by the Promoter for any reason, including but not limited to COVID-19, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

  18. All entries must be received by 23:59 AEDT/AEST on the Entry Deadlines stipulated in the table in clause 5. No entries will be accepted after the deadline date for the corresponding draw. Entries must be correct, complete and comprehensible. Entries become the property of the promoter and will not be returned.

  19. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

  20. The Prize Draws will be held on the dates below at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010. The winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received by the relevant Entry Deadline. This is a game of chance.

  21. Winners will be notified via email within two (2) business days of the draw and Winners’ details will be published on the DC Film Crew website at dcfilmcrew.com.au within five (5) business days of the draw.

  22. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time and at their discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If the winner, for any reason, does not take any element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the winner forfeits the prize, with no compensation or further liability of the Promoter.

  23. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).

  24. Winners must provide their acceptance and confirmation including their companion’s name within five (5) days of being notified. If any Winners are unable to be contacted by this deadline, they will forfeit their prize and an unclaimed prize draw will take place to re-allocate their prize. If required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 on the dates stipulated in the table below:

  25. The unclaimed prize Winner will be notified of their prize by e-mail within two (2) business days and Winner’s details will be published on the DC Film Crew website at dcfilmcrew.com.au within five (5) days of the unclaimed prize draw.

  26. The Promoter and its associated agencies, are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the use of a prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its associated agencies or any person associated with any of them, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.

  27. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

  28. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, COVID-19, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.

  29. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

  30. The Promoter is promoting this competition as a Licensee of Warner Bros. Pictures international, a division of Warner Bros. Distributing inc. Any personal information you provide when participating in the competition [name, email, date of birth, city, and your home address, if you win] will be processed in line with Warner Bros’ privacy policy, available at https://policies.warnerbros.com/privacy/en-au/ . Your personal information may be disclosed to third parties as a result of entering this competition, including but not limited to Ansible Pty Ltd. Such third parties will only process personal data to help administer the competition and not for their own commercial or other purposes. By entering the competition, the entrant agrees to the Promoter sending marketing communications relative to the DC Film Crew from time to time, via the entrant’s contact details as provided in the Competition entry form. Your personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. For purposes of public statements and advertisements The Promoter will only publish the Winner’s surname, initial and State. If you do not provide us with all or part of the personal information requested we may not be able to enter you into the competition. You may access your personal information held by us or request to access, edit, correct and/or opt-out your Personal Data in accordance with the Warner Bros’ Privacy Policy by contacting the Promoter on AusPublicity@nbcuni.com.
